Marlene Jackson was born in beautiful Cape Town, South Africa and moved to NZ in 2002 and has two teenage daughters Mia and Amber.
She has worked in the Fashion business for over 20years, starting with her modelling career at the age of 16yrs, while still at school. During her 9 years of modelling she worked in South Africa, New York, London, Madrid, Munich and Zurich she was inspired to one day start her own business. With all her experience and know how she started her own agency turning it into a very successful business, promoting her agency locally and internationally, managing top models, nurturing young up and coming models.
Marlene enjoys a challenge and dabbled in currency trading for 3 years, enjoys making jewellery and turned that into a small business, loves drawing for relaxation, is a qualified SUP Instructor (coaching paddle boarding) and a hands-on mother. She also did a course in psychology and for 3 years was a trainer/facilitator for Re-New Mothers Program and WINZ focusing on empowering women in our communities. Most recently Marlene was with Honda for a year as Sales Support, providing leads for sales, client communications and support and a range of administrative work.
She is a highly motivated and disciplined individual, a leader and creative thinker. Marlene tends to analyse specific situations with a creative perspective and is very giving and nurturing by nature.
In her spare time Marlene loves Stand Up Paddle Boarding (SUP) and is the Masters NZ National Champion for 2017 & 18 along with a few local SUP series events. She also enjoys her Yoga, has been cycling for 15yrs, taking long walks with her kids and Benson their Cairn Terrier, reading , socialising and enjoying anything she decides to do in life.
